gbac Association Practice Group Testifies in Congress



GGuilfordGene Guilford of the gbac Association Practice Group was proud to have worked with the Commodity Markets Oversight Coalition [CMOC], a group of more than 60 national, regional and state associations, in testifying before Congress at the U.S. Senate Agriculture Committee on July 17, 2013. Guilford brought CMOC’s message of the need for commodity market reform measures to the Senate in the context of the Senate’s consideration of the 2013 reauthorization of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission [CFTC].

Guilford represented CMOC again on July 24, 2013 in testimony before the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Agriculture, Subcommittee on General Farm Commodities and Risk Management, also on the matter of that committee’s consideration of the reauthorization of the CFTC.
